How to choose a CPU

 ? What is the CPU

CPU or central processing unit or processor is the mind of your pc it processes all data and your orders and sends it to every part of your pc

Cores and threads are the factors that identify your CPU performance

? How to choose your CPU

    1-Compatility

     : CPU socket

for example : lga1700 compatible to12th gen intel processors and am4 compatible to amd ryzen 5000 series

to know the compatible socket to your CPU see the CPU package

amd ryzen 9 and lga2011 socket motherboard you are unlucky , I know that ryzen 9 is powerful but you can't put it in lga2011 socket

Intel core i7 10700k is compatible for lga1200 socket motherboards

    2-Cores

Before 2000 , processors only had a single core , but after 2000 the multi core processors have appeared , and now we are seeing CPUs have 6 , 8 , 10 cores , and there is processors have 32 cores !!

we all know that more cores gives more performance to the CPU put you must know how many cores do you need before you buy a CPU  for example :  if you need a pc for using office , you may be need 6 core  CPU , if you need pc for heavy workstation or gaming you maybe need 8 cores or more CPU

    3-Threads

Threads is like virtual core it gives some more performance

Intel CPUs uses hyper-threading technology , Amd CPUs uses SMT

    4-CPU speed

Clock speeds are measured in gigahertz (GHz) , More CPU speed make your pc do missions faster but make the CPU not easy to overclock

CPU with more cores and less speed can do more missions but not to fast and that's not a problem for workstation but not good for gamers

CPU with less cores and more speed can do missions quickly but it can do a few missions
